WELLER Pottery Rare Tutone Vase with WELSON Pottery COPPERTONE Glaze 1920's. This is a Weller Tutone vase that was overglazed by Welson Pottery with a Coppertone Glaze on the outside (the inner lower part of the vase still retains some of the tan glaze used on the Tutone vases). Very little is known about "Welson Pottery" but a similar example has been found (with a full paper label). No cracks, chips or repairs, typical factory glaze and clay pops and crazing.
See last photo for a tiny factory pop on one tip (has clear glaze over it). It's about 7 1/2 inches tall and about 5 inches at its widest.
Signed with a partial Welson Pottery paper sticker on the underside. KHA Antiques Art Glass Pottery. Authenticity and Satisfaction are Guaranteed! See your Favorite Items in our Store!
