Circa early 1900's, this Weller Pottery Sicard lidded vase stands to the top of the lid approximately 6" tall and the bottom is approximately 7.5" in diameter. Without the lid on the height is 4.25 tall. Finished in the easily recognizable "Sicardo" finish, it is glazed in shades of purple, gold, green and blue. The interior is glazed in a complementary green color. It is decorated with large flowers, buds, leaves and stems.
In excellent original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marks include, as pictured, "Weller" and "Sicard". A fantastic two piece Weller Sicard to add to your pottery collection. If you have any questions, please contact me at Barbara Gerr Antiques.
Any white spots, reflections, shadows, or lines are from the lights and not in the glaze. We hope that you enjoy viewing our selection of pottery in the store.
